I ventured down to the Flight Museum today. Someone really sparked my interest in it at work. So, I thought I would go down and see how restoration was going and just to see what might have been so neat! They had one of the hangers open to the public and the other still packed with the planes, engines, and other things that are still being restored or haven't really been touched since Ike ripped through the museum last year. The planes on display were really neat, and I enjoyed the trip.
It would have been neat to see more of what they use to have up. There were a few planes that could be seen through the door into Hanger 2 that would have been awesome to see. But maybe once its all back together. I asked when things might be back to normal as I was leaving, and was told "A couple of years or a couple million, which ever comes first." So basically, after I graduate in two years.Anyways, Enjoy the pictures!

Sorry I didn't call you back! I got home about 1. And I have an inspection tmar, so I've been CLEANING CLEANING CLEANING for the past couple of hours. The bastards haven't done inspections on anyone else. So why're they picking on poor little old me??? Call me tonight if you have a chance. This museum reminds me of the one in d.c. only the one in d.c. was so frigging crowded...

And I'm sure in the original exhibits, that truck had its purpose. But since the hurricane ripped through, its probably lucky to be in such good shape.
